This August, the Paediatric Society of Ghana (PSG) joins the global celebration of World Breastfeeding Month!!! and our theme is:
“ENABLING BREASTFEEDING: MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR THE WORKING MOTHER”
We recognize the significant benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and child, as it provides essential nutrients and antibodies, strengthening the baby’s immune system and reducing the risk of infections.
Through our awareness programs and webinars, PSG aims to empower and educate mothers and the general public about the importance of breastfeeding and create a supportive environment that encourages this natural and nurturing practice, even for the working mother.
Together, we stand committed to enhancing maternal and child health, fostering a brighter and healthier future for all.
